CFUW Brantford’s 75th Anniversary gardens

f you have a moment, you might enjoy a drive to West Brant to look at the gardens that are dedicated to CFUW Brantford’s 75th Anniversary.
The display is located at Lorne Park, 15 Colborne Street West, just across the Lorne Bridge that crosses the Grand River from Brantford to West Brant.
Many thanks to Lynn Haylock who negotiated with the Parks Department on our behalf.

Pre-pandemic interest group gathering

From 2019:

For their first session this year, the Creative Cooking Interest Group enjoyed a culinary demonstration and fantastic dinner at Salt and Pepper on Colborne Street East.  Andres Rojas, Executive Chef, demonstrated the art of making some of the dishes which included:  slow-cooked chuck beef ragu served with homemade fettuccine, grilled  peach caprese salad and ricotta berry cake.  Great fun!
