CFUW is a voluntary, non-partisan, non-profit, self-funded, bilingual organization.

We accept ALL women who believe in our aims and objectives.

CFUW welcomes all women who support our goals.

CFUW has over 100 clubs across Canada with over 8,000 members.

Approximately 5,000 members make up the CFUW membership in Ontario across 54 clubs.

 

Purposes of CFUW Brantford

1. Promote opportunities for collaboration and friendship among members.
2. Promote high standards of public education in Canada, advanced study and research by women and the pursuit of lifelong learning.
3. Provide scholarship awards in accordance with the CFUW Brantford Scholarship Fund Constitution .
4. Advocate for the advancement of the status of women, human rights and the common good, locally, nationally and internationally in alignment with CFUW National.
5. Promote cooperation, networking, support and understanding among women.
6. Encourage women in all aspects of the political, social, cultural, educational and scientific fields and in service to the community.
